Cement Defoamers

Suppress Cement Foaming Tendencies

Using cementing additives like dispersants or salts can cause unwanted cement foaming. Gelation from cement foaming can interfere with mixing. Cement foaming can also cause a too-high slurry density measurement at downhole conditions, since densitometers often calculate the foam as part of the slurry density.

Al Moghera offers several defoamers formulated to inhibit or break cement slurry foaming. Our defoaming products are effective across a spectrum of pH and salinity ranges. These defoamers are proven to perform powerfully in a variety of oilfield applications, from drilling to cementing and fluid production, augmenting efficiency and boosting production processes.
