Anti-Settling Agents

Anti-settling additives preserve slurry integrity.

Solid settling often occurs in cement slurries that are over-dispersed and in high-density slurries when weighting agents are implemented. Anti-settling agents can prevent the settling of solids in these circumstances; they can also be added to highly extended slurries to eradicate free water.

Al Moghera offers both powdered and liquid anti-settling agents formulated to address issues that contribute to slurry instability during concrete preparation, including free water, sedimentation, and density gradation. Our cement anti-settling agents boost rheological values, which also helps to stabilize slurries.

Benefits:

  • Consistent performance in preventing solids from settling downhole, both within a wide range of temperatures (up to 300 ºF) and in an assortment of complex slurries
  • Shows excellent synergisms to improve fluid loss control
  • Effectively designed to increase suspension properties for dispersed cement slurries
