Water Gel Breakers

Once it has served its purpose creating a hydraulic fracture and delivering the necessary proppant, a fracturing fluid must go through a process called “breaking,” or unthickening, in order to promote the swiftest flow-back. A water gellant breaker is effective in de-viscosifying fracturing fluids.

• Oxidative Breakers—Ideal for high-temperature reservoirs, these cost-effective breakers are available in a range of coating levels so you can control rate at which they react.
• Enzyme Breakers—Known for their ability to produce high regain conductivities, enzyme breakers are also less harmful for the environment.
